Venus Retrograde 2025

On March 1, 2025, Venus the planet of love, beauty, and finances, begins her retrograde journey, first moving through fiery Aries before slipping back into dreamy Pisces on March 27. This entire transit, lasting until April 12, urges us to slow down and reassess our relationships, personal values, and financial habits.

With Venus retrograding through two vastly different energies, this retrograde transit can feel unpredictable at times, requiring us to navigate both passion and introspection. In Aries, Venus retrograde leans toward impulsivity, tempting us to act on fleeting desires in love and money. But as she shifts into Pisces, the energy softens, inviting us to reflect on the deeper meaning of our relationships, reconcile karmic patterns, and establish new connections that align with who we are now, and support who we want to become.

Love & Relationships

Planets in retrograde often stir up the past, and Venus retrograde is no exception. Old lovers, unresolved emotions, and lingering questions/challenges in relationships are a few scenarios that may come up. While these situations may not be the most pleasant, they do offer the opportunity for closure or a fresh start. Venus retrograde in Aries takes no prisoners, she encourages us to confront issues head-on, clear the air, and make space for healthier dynamics moving forward.

As Venus moves back into Pisces, we’re called to examine our relationships through a spiritual lens, diving deep to reflect on karmic lessons and emotional truths. If someone from the past reappears, ask yourself: is this a test, lesson, or a second chance? And would re-involvement with this person align with who I am now, and more importantly, support who I want to become? New connections formed during this period may feel intense and “too good to be true”. Venus loves new love, but retrograde in Pisces, she can have her head in the clouds. Have fun, but it would be wise to wait until Venus goes direct before making any major commitments.

Finances & Beauty

Financially, Venus retrograde calls for discernment. It’s not the best time for major investments or luxury splurges (unless you’ve already mapped out a solid plan), as our perception of value can be skewed during this time. My advice? Tuck those extra funds away for now and use the next six weeks or so, to renegotiate financial agreements or collect on debts owed to you. Unexpected expenses may pop up, and if they do, you’ll be grateful you skipped that pricey impulse buy!

The same advice applies to beauty—drastic aesthetic changes might not turn out as expected, or you may find yourself regretting them once Venus moves direct. It’s best to wait a few weeks and really think about it. After all, your outward appearance is how you present yourself to the world. Make sure it truly aligns with who you are.

Three of Wands and Ten of Cups Tarot Cards

Tarot Cards for Venus Retrograde: 3 of Wands & 10 of Cups

For this Venus retrograde, the Three of Wands and Ten of Cups offer us guidance that feels both practical and reassuring as we navigate the ups and downs of love, relationships, and finances.

The Three of Wands reminds us to slow down and not rush into decisions. It speaks of taking a step back, looking at the bigger picture, and trusting the right opportunities will come, when we are ready for them. In the context of Venus retrograde, this means resisting the urge to jump heart-first into new relationships or making impactful choices without thinking it through.

The Ten of Cups offers a hopeful message, suggesting that while we may be revisiting old emotional patterns or confronting unresolved issues in relationships, this transit offers an opportunity to clear the air, find closure, and create space for authentic connections that nurture our well-being and growth—whether it’s with a partner, family, or even ourselves. Venus retrograde may present some challenges, but with patience, reflection, and a bit of inner work, these cards reassure us that something good is waiting for us just on the other side

Tarot & Energy Update this week: 2/3/25

This week’s energy brings fresh starts and exciting possibilities! With Venus entering Aries on the 4th, she infuses our lives with confidence and passion, especially in the areas pertaining to love, creativity, and personal pursuits. It’s the perfect time to take bold steps toward what (or who) lights you up.

Jupiter stationing direct in Gemini that same day helps conversations flow more easily, making it a great time to connect, share ideas, and entertain new perspectives. A surprise opportunity may pop up when you least expect it—go with the flow and see where it leads (just remember to stay safe and use common sense, of course).

Later in the week, Neptune’s alignment with the North Node in Pisces on February 7th turns up the volume on our intuition, prophetic dreams, and synchronicities. This ethereal aspect has us drifting into uncharted waters, testing the integrity of our connection to the divine. If certain signs keep appearing—a recurring thought, repeating numbers, an image, or an uncanny coincidence—don’t brush them off. If your intuition is picking up on these subtle signs, trust they hold meaning or a message for you.

That said, there’s another side to this energy—Neptune is the planet of illusions and dreams, and in Pisces, this aspect is even more amplified. Remember, not everything may be as it seems. When our intuition is heightened, so is the potential for confusion, escapism, or wishful thinking. If you feel as if you are floating on a cloud this week, this is your reminder to stay grounded and discerning—dreams are powerful motivators, but they need a practical plan to manifest into reality. Stay inspired my beautiful dreamer, but look before you leap.

Tarot Card Advice: The Page of Cups (Upright)

The whimsical Page of Cups often brings messages of good news, so stay open and curious this week—something delightful may be waiting for you just around the corner! I can’t help but smile at his expression of surprise as he finds a fish in his cup. It’s a playful reminder that magic doesn’t always come in grand, sweeping gestures; sometimes, it’s the little moments that catch us off guard. A small synchronicity that makes you pause is proof that magic is always around you. You only need to be willing to see it.

Have a great week! ❤

New Moon in Taurus 5/7/24: Six of Pentacles

The Six of Pentacles tarot card from the Rider Waite Smith deck

The Taurus new moon this week invites you to be kind, and to pursue opportunities that enhance your overall long-term stability.

The tarot card associated with this transit is the six of pentacles. A few key words for this card are generosity, investment and reciprocity.

This is an interesting card as depending on the situation, you may be the one giving or receiving. For those that are doing well, you are reminded to appreciate what you have and to offer assistance to others or a good cause when you are able. For those that are going through rough times, the six of pentacles upright in a reading is an auspicious sign that your luck is about to change for the better. 😊

What goes around comes around and the karmic wheel of life is perpetually in motion. More often than not, an act of kindness, no matter how small, circles back to its source bringing a blessing with it at a later date. If you are presented with an opportunity to do a good deed that is feasible for you in the next two weeks, consider it.

We are all capable of giving in ways that cost very little. Hold the door for someone, offer a listening ear, give someone a compliment, thumbs up a friend’s post and/or write a review for their business, let someone in front of you in line, tip an extra dollar, etc. You get the idea.

On the flip side, the six of pentacles card invites you to examine situations where you may be over-extending your resources to the point of tipping your own scale out of balance. You should not have to deplete yourself to satisfy or help others.

If the above paragraph resonates with you, the new moon in Taurus encourages you to recognize your inherent value as you prioritize self-care as well as your own sustainability. Invest wisely. Not just financially, but also when it comes to your well-being and happiness.

Have a great week! ❤️

Virgo Full Moon & Saturn moves into Pisces: A moment of clarity.

Nine of Cups & Nine of Pentacles from the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck

This week we have the full moon in the sign of Virgo and Saturn changing signs into Pisces! Don’t be surprised if some changes come about in your life! Reconciliations, breakups, new relationships, as well as making the decision to change jobs, move, start a new health regime, start a new endeavor, or end one. Anything is possible!

The sun in Pisces (nine of cups) and the moon in Virgo (nine of pentacles) has us reassessing important areas of our life wherein we have known for a while that a change is needed. Emotional fulfilment, one’s spiritual path, self-worth and independence may be a few themes that come to light. You may have an eye-opening epiphany or a truth that comes out, that literally stops you in your tracks. As you decide on whether or not if this road is still the one that you want to be on. Whether it is or is not, this transit serves as a reality check that gives you the motivation to do what is best for you.

This particular transit, has an air of endings, the future and maturity. It’s asking us to take stock of where we’ve been and where we are going from here. Its almost the spring season. Time once again to cultivate our gardens. This week, the universe is asking us to evaluate the quality of the soil with fresh eyes. Do you plant your seeds again here? In the same spot as last year? Or is it time to cultivate some new soil?

Have a great week everyone! ❤️

Weekly tarot message 2/27/23: Making progress, getting it done.

Knight of Pentacles, The Emperor & Queen of Swords from the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck

Weekly tarot message 2/27/23:

Making progress, getting it done.

Knight of Pentacles has his eye on the prize and urges his faithful steed forward each day as he keeps his future goal ever present in his mind’s eye. As an earth element card, the Knight of Pentacles moves the slowest, as it represents the physical realm. Progress here takes time and action on your part. What steps do you need to take this week to make progress on a project or goal? You may have gone off track. Is it time for a realignment?

The Emperor is smack dab in the middle of this reading! He represents the sign of Aries. Controlled, masculine fire. This is my discipline and strategy card. Adding structure to your daily routine would be helpful. Cut out distractions and be aware of “time bandits” that sap your focus and energy. Be firm and stick to it when setting personal boundaries. Next month, the sun moves into Aries on the 21st. This could be a time marker for some of you. Take care of those small details now before the spring season kicks in!

The Queen of Swords as the final card is not one to be trifled with! She does not have time for excuses! She’s my “self-made” Queen. Smart and to the point, she holds us accountable for our own thoughts and actions. She made it and so can you! Be prepared for some tough love. See the truth for what it is and own up to your responsibilities. It may be time for a conversation. Then you will know exactly where you stand and what needs to be done. Both the Emperor and The Queen of Swords can also indicate that consulting with a professional advisor, a successful older person or mentor may be helpful.

Have a great week!

Leo full moon 2/5/23. Solar plexus activation. Tarot card: Six of Wands

The Six of Wands from the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck

First, let’s talk a little bit about the symbolism of this transit. The numerology is interesting. It occurs on the 5th day of the month. As well when one adds up the entire date 2+5+2+0+2+3 = 14. It also breaks down to the number 5. The sign of Leo rules the 5th house on the zodiac wheel. The fifth house relates to joy, children, self-expression, confidence, drama, romance and overall good times. It’s planetary ruler is the sun. Its archetype is the majestic lion.

All I’m going to say here is, get ready! The lion does NOT sleep tonight!

This energetic Leo full moon is activating our solar plexus chakra big time to give us an extra boost to reframe areas of our life that are overdue for a reboot. The corresponding tarot card is the six of wands. In this card, we see someone in the spotlight. This person is a winner and is ready to take on the next challenge. It can denote achieving a goal, overcoming obstacles, as well as future success. There is also an element of respect in this card. As full moons often shed light on shadow areas in our life, you may find that this transit highlights situations and people that may not be or no longer be suitable for your highest good.

Are you respected and “seen” at work, in your relationships, friendships, etc.? Do you surround yourself with people and places that support your well-being? Do your friends and family cheer for you when you win? Or not so much? Where in your life do you feel confident, happy, sexy. And in what areas of your life do you feel overlooked, disrespected, closed-off or in general is not moving in the direction that you want it to?

After the full moon, it will enter its waning phase. Banishing, clearing, cleansing, de-clutter are some keywords for the waning moon. Often, we yearn for change, but our lives are so busy and cluttered, that we don’t have room for anything else to come in. I would also recommend an aura clearing bath, as well as energetically cleansing one’s personal space to “clear out” stagnant energies that may be lingering. If you would like advice on how to do this that is personalized for your situation, contact me.

When it comes to Leo, it’s all about heart. It has been recently scientifically proven that the heart has it’s own “consciousness”. Pay attention to what your heart and body is telling you. Stress and painful emotions often manifest as sensations in the chest area. The heart doesn’t lie. Be kind but honest with yourself. What needs to go or what do you need to limit your exposure to, in order for you to be happier and healthier? The Leo Moon is not complicated. It really is as simple as that.

Leo, as I mentioned above, also corresponds to children. And a Leo moon further amplifies this energy. Spending time with young ones has a way of bringing out our silly side. We laugh and play alongside them. Honestly, is there anything more joyful than a child’s smile? Spend time with kids if you can or nurture your own inner child by engaging in a youthful activity or watching funny, cute videos online. If you are trying to conceive, this week leading up to the full moon may prove favorable for you.

Crystal suggestions: Amber, citrine, malachite, carnelian, clear quartz, green jade, moonstone, tigers eye, sunstone

Have a great week! ❤️

This week: New Moon in Aquarius, Ace of Wands, Tigers Eye: Yes!

Ace of Wands from the Rider Waite tarot deck & Tiger’s Eye crystal card

This Saturday, we have the first new moon of 2023 in the sign of progressive Aquarius. New moons mark the beginning of a new cycle. I find it interesting that the tarot card that came out for this week is the Ace of Wands and the crystal card is Tiger’s Eye. All the Aces in the tarot indicate new beginnings and potential. And both the Ace of Wands and the tigers eye crystal carry the frequencies of courage, fire, clarity, self-sovereignty, and faith in oneself. With this dynamic trio working together, you may be feeling inspired to make some positive changes or start something new this week!

There’s a saying that five seconds of courage can change your life. This may be your message to initiate a plan of action. The Ace of Wands upright is a “yes”. Weigh your options carefully of course. But don’t let self-doubt, fear or overthinking stand in the way of a good opportunity!

Tigers eye is an “all purpose” crystal that assists with psychic clarity, courage, protection, and helps one to channel their personal power in a constructive manner. It is also aids in lifting one’s mood, while at the same time, calms an overactive mind. Tigers eye carries a mid-level vibration which is well-tolerated by even very sensitive empaths. Try carrying a tigers eye tumbled stone or wear a bracelet or pendant this week to connect with this powerful, yet gentle, stone as you embark on your exciting new quest!

Have a great week everyone! ~Christine ❤️♒️🔥
