Full Moon in Gemini 12/7/22

Tarot cards Nine of Swords, Nine of Wands for the Full Moon in Gemini

As I look at these cards today for this transit, I sense a lot of collective pent-up internal energy. The Gemini moon represented by the nine of swords, has us all up in our head! And the Sun in the sign of Sagittarius, represented by the nine of wands, has us battle weary, but holding strong, as we are in the final month of 2022. Full Moons have a strong effect on us and the planet, as they intensify energy. Add the hustle and bustle of the holidays to the mix, and we have quite a dynamic smoothie whirling in the blender!

The advice card that came out is #53 use your hands. Ground some of this energy by getting out of your head and into your physical experience this week! Exercise, get out in nature, walk, run, do yoga, cook, bake, make crafts, spend time with your partner, etc. Make lists to help organize your thoughts. Try to schedule your day to focus your intentions & add structure.

It is also important to understand that December, collectively, is the time of the year where there are interruptions and delays due to the holidays. December as well as full moons, are also when cycles are generally finishing up. Make peace with the process and try to work with the tide instead of against it. Some arrangements, resolutions or important decisions may be best deferred to 2023.

Gemini is a dynamic energy that is quick witted, active, social and highly adaptable. This is not one of those “deep thoughts” kind of full moon. Its more about swift decisions and action. I feel both the 9 of swords and the 9 of wands in this reading indicate a strong desire for connection and new positive experiences. Perhaps you would like to make a difference in your community? Volunteer at a church, charity, animal shelter, fund raiser, etc. Host a holiday party. After what we have been through the last few years, I’m sure friends and family would love to get together! Do some fun activities with the kids. Knock out that holiday list by getting your shopping done early. Do that final closet clean out and donate items to charity. Dress up and go to a local community event. Attend a local market. Rediscover yourself and your surroundings.

Gemini rules communications! Now would be a great time to pare down social media feeds that no longer contribute in a positive way to your well-being! As well as maybe add some new interesting feeds to your experience.

Collectively, this full moon is quite active and expressive! The pent up energy we are experiencing may seem a little frustrating, but channeled in a positive way, it gives us the opportunity to make some sustainable and positive changes as we approach the end of 2022.

Helpful crystal suggestions: Black tourmaline, black obsidian, smoky quartz, pyrite, tourmalinated quartz, howlite, tigers eye, moss agate, ametrine, moonstone, nuummite, chrysocolla, quartz pyramid or point.

Have a great week!

Post Eclipse Message: The beach is swept clean. Decisions, choices.

Post eclipse tarot spread. A clean slate. A choice to move forward.

I don’t know about ya’ll but this eclipse season whipped my ass! But I do now feel a sense of relief and newfound motivation that I haven’t felt in a while. You guys are all “tapped in” too, so I know I am not the only one feeling this way!

Today, the moon has just begun its waning decreasing phase. Illumination is 99% and it is in the sign of Gemini. The Sun is in Scorpio and its corresponding tarot card is the 6 of cups. This is full-on transformation energy! Realizing the past is done and making peace with it in order to move ahead. We have a decision to make as to which direction we want our Chariot to go. Backwards is not an option.

The eclipses showed us what was dragging us down or holding us back. Much of this we may have realized were not necessarily outward forces, but rather internal blockages that were manifesting in our life. I received an image today of the ocean tide sweeping the shoreline clean as it pulls back into the ocean. Removing all of the old footprints of the past and replacing it with a clean water swept beach. Go ahead and look back, but the footprints are gone.

I have a feeling its going to be very interesting from here on out. Have a great day!

One card quick message: The Five of Cups

The Five of Cups from the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck

The Five of Cups is the card that came out today. Let’s look carefully at the image in this card. We see a character mourning the loss of three spilled cups and behind him, we see two cups that are still standing. This card speaks of a loss as well as the grieving process. Sadness has overcome this character for the moment, as he is working through his emotions, trying to deal with the fact that something has ended. Oftentimes in a reading, this can signify a relationship break-up or a death in the family for example. But it can also indicate any other type of loss that has had a significant emotional impact.

This card reminds us that yes, allow yourself time to grieve. However try not to stay there too long. For all is not lost. The two upright cups behind him, on the right side of the card, signify the return to an emotionally balanced state and also of moving forward.

It is only when the character finally turns around, that he notices the two remaining cups as well as the bridge behind him. As he picks up the two cups, perfectly balanced, one in each hand, and crosses the bridge over the troubled waters of the past, he is walking in the direction of the castle that represents a future filled with new opportunities and possibilities.

If you are reading this, I hope this message was helpful…

Tarot forecast: One door closes, another one opens

An ending is the bridge between the four of pentacles and the 9 of pentacles!

Hi everyone this is Christine aka Texas Tarot Lady with your tarot forecast for this week!

The moon is continuing its waning transit as we approach eclipse season beginning with a new moon solar eclipse in Scorpio on October 25th. This powerful transit offers us a chance for a “reboot” on a primal level. I feel the cards that came out today reflect this energy coming into our awareness. Think of this period of time as “prep work”. Whitewashing the canvas so that we can go deep within the womb of the new moon to contemplate ideas for the new picture that we are about to paint.

This week’s message:

The four of pentacles and the ten of swords combined in this reading, indicates that something has run its course. You may be holding on or staying for just a little longer, hoping the situation improves or for a more mundane, practical reason. For others of you, the four of pentacles tells me that you have set some money aside for a rainy day, knowing this situation was not going to last long term. In other words, you saw the writing on the wall and prepared accordingly. The four of pentacles while holding tight now, soon will be required to let the process unfold as there is something new approaching on the horizon. Let’s touch on the ten of swords for a moment…

I often refer to the ten of swords as the “stick a fork in me I’m done” card in my readings. It’s the final blow in a situation, or it can indicate the end of overthinking. The image is rough, but it brings relief. Notice the “blessings” symbol that the character is making with his right hand. It’s a small detail, but important. My eye was drawn to this as I glanced at the next card, the nine of pentacles. This ending is the catalyst that allows something much better to come in.

The nine of pentacles is an auspicious sign. It is one of my favorite cards in the tarot. I often refer to her as my independent woman or female entrepreneur card. She has a deep appreciation for the finer things in life, including herself! In fact, her self-worth is the key to her success. After all, if you do not value yourself, who else will? She has an eye for beauty which can indicate that a creative hobby or side business has the potential to grow over time. It can also indicate a successful professional career and/or investments. She is a reflection of high standards, prosperity, confidence and grace. Her success has been built over time. She’s a mature woman that is at the point in her life where she is enjoying the blessings of her achievements. Not too shabby, I must say!

Grounding the reading is the four of cups. Here we have the card of perception and attitude. Compare this card and the ten of swords above it. The ten of swords literally has ten swords in his back, yet still has his eye on the horizon. Tomorrow is a new day full of possibilities. In the four of cups, the young man has opportunities sitting in front of him, as well as has a divine hand offering him another. But in his apathy, he doesn’t even bother to look up. Which one of these cards do you identify with at the moment? Is your cup half full or half empty?

One door closes and another one opens is the theme for this reading. Perhaps you will need to crawl through a window, I don’t know. But there does appear to be a favorable outcome and/or avenue for success here that may require a different approach. Stay open. Be willing to invest in yourself. The Divine has something “more” in mind for you. More than what you had in mind for yourself.

Zodiac signs in this reading: Capricorn, Gemini, Virgo, Cancer

Date correspondences: Jan.10-19, June 11-20, July 12-21, Sept.2-11

Have a wonderful week! 🙂❤️

Tarot Forecast for 10/10-10/16/22

We are still feeling the effects of the recent fiery, independent Aries full moon, as it is just beginning its waning phase through the signs of Taurus Gemini and Cancer this week. The tarot cards that came out are the five of swords, Judgement and nine of cups:

Early in the week/moon in Taurus. Tarot card: Five of Swords. Taurus energy is strong and unwavering here as it appears that there is a conflict or stalemate impeding progress in an area of your life. However, the five of swords, indicates that the conflict or difficulty has reached its peak and now has a chance to be resolved.

There are two messages/possible scenarios here:

1) You may be ready to stand up for yourself and set a healthy boundary by drawing a line in the sand. Others of you have had enough and are prepared to (or already have) cut the chord in order to set yourself free as the other side is/was not willing to listen or compromise.

2) Think carefully before your next move. Winning at all costs may make you the victor in the battle, but you may lose the war. Are you sure there isn’t a more peaceful resolution or a mutual compromise that can be reached? This situation may need some time in order to allow all involved to collect themselves before taking action or making a final decision. Be careful of doing or saying something in the heat of the moment that you may regret later.

I’ll let you decide which message resonates with you.

Mid-week/moon in Gemini. Tarot card: Judgement. Gemini is the sign of communication, and here we have Gabriel coming in with your wake- up call! Whatever your actions were earlier in the week, what’s done is done. Judgement upright depicts a new sense of purpose through the wisdom of self-reflection. The past no longer holds you back. You’ve made peace with it. You are moving forward and making the necessary changes in your life and/or routine in order to embrace a path that is in alignment with a positive goal and/or a successful future.

End of the week/moon in Cancer. Tarot card: Nine of Cups. Emotional fulfilment and success is where it’s at toward the end of the week! You may have reached a goal, achieved a personal milestone or some of you may be up for a promotion, acknowledgment, award, etc. This is a positive card, indicating self-satisfaction and/or the celebration of an achievement. Dreams can come true! Enjoy your blessings, you have earned it!

Have a great week everyone! ❤️

Tarot forecast 9/26-10/2/22

Five of Swords, Nine of Cups & Judgement tarot cards

Hi everyone, this is Christine with your tarot forecast for this week!

We begin the week with the new moon in Libra. The tarot card that came out for this aspect is the five of swords. Libra is a sign associated with balance and justice. However, the fives in the tarot indicate a disruption or change. Is there an area in your life wherein the scales require an adjustment? This may evolve into a conflict that requires you to assess your position carefully.

If you love/care about the others involved, use the Libra New Moon to rise above egos in order reach a mutually beneficial compromise. If tempers flare, give each other space to calm down so that no one says anything that they may regret later. Others of you may have had enough and are ready to speak your truth or draw that line in the sand. You may be dealing with someone who refuses to listen/compromise or that has a negative impact on your well-being.

I’ll let you decide if this is card’s message is one of “good riddance” or “hold on, maybe I shouldn’t go there”. Our words yield great power. Use them wisely. Let’s move on….

Mid-week, the moon travels through the sign of Scorpio. Scorpio loves digging deep to get to the real truth and it is empowered by the waxing moon. Here we have the 9 of cups. This is a card of achievement, success, happiness, accolades. A job well done. What does your vision of happiness and success look like? Are you currently in alignment with that goal or dream? This card corresponds to Jupiter in Pisces. Artistry, imagination, generosity, happiness.

The world is your oyster here as long as your intent is pure and you have joy in your heart. This is a great energy for projects, friendship, laugher, sharing ideas. If you are open and honest, the right people and circumstances will be drawn to you and will support your vision.

At the end of the week, the moon continues through the sign of Sagittarius. And away we go with the tarot card, Judgement. There is certainly momentum building as you are bringing about some positive changes into your life or a situation. You may be making peace or coming to terms with, a decision or action (maybe from earlier in the week with that five of swords?). You have Archangel Gabriel here delivering your message. There is no denying that it is time to get up and get moving. The card is upright, so I see this is as a positive change and/or transformation. This may also be a sign for some of you that you are being inspired by a “divine calling” in some capacity.

Although Judgement tends to generally be what I consider a “larger themed” card, this can also denote your making positive changes in your daily habits, routines, patterns, etc. that positively impact yourself and those around you. There is no going back when we see this card. Judgement is the next to last card in the major arcana. It is the moment that one steps out of the casket of what was, and into a new destiny, life or career path, or calling. On a smaller scale, it could simply be that of embracing a new perspective or a “new lease on life”.

Have a great week everyone! ❤️✨♎🦋🌑

Tarot message for 9/19-9/25/22: Two of Pentacles & “Spirit”

Two of Pentacles & Spirit oracle card

Hi everyone, things are a little bit hectic on the homestead this week, so I am going to keep this short with a one tarot card and one oracle card pull for this week’s message:

Two of Pentacles & “Spirit” Heavenly assistance from your angels and guides:

I think all of us can sympathize with the character in the two of pentacles card. His hands are full as he is juggling work, school, responsibilities, a budget, time for family, etc. It often seems that there are not enough hours in the day. I often refer to the two of pentacles as the multi-tasking card.

The message that is sometimes overlooked here, is that this character is artfully skilled at balancing all that needs to be done. Kudos to you! But it is advised not to take on anything else at the moment. This may require you to put less important tasks on the back burner for now, until this settles down or is concluded.

You’ve got this, but it’s kind of like walking on a tightrope. It’s tricky, as you are making adjustments with each step. So you are going to need to carefully focus on keeping your feet underneath you. Usually, the two of pentacles denotes a relatively temporary situation that is challenging, but certainly doable.

Notice the infinity symbol that is wrapped around the two pentacles. The oracle card “Spirit” is an interesting message as the infinity symbol in the tarot denotes connection to the infinite possibilities of the universe/divine, as well as a connection to the higher spirit realms. If you are pulling double duty right now, you may be asking, how long can I keep this going? Your answer from spirit is “as long as it takes to get through this, or to get this done”. You are supported by spirit, so be sure and ask for divine help and guidance if needed. Remember, they will not interfere unless you ask!

I often see this card come up for clients when they are burning the candle at both ends. Working during the day and going to school at night. Single parents, I’m sure you can identify with this image, as well as those that may be caring for elderly parents, young children or family members that need help. These are just a few examples to help you understand the tone of this card.

The last message is to be sure that you are finding a healthy balance between your responsibilities and own well-being. It’s easy to forget about yourself when you are focusing on the juggling act at hand. Remember, you are a crucial component in all of this. Take care of yourself. ❤️

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Tarot forecast 9/12-9/18/22: Dust ups, apologies, good news…

Five of Wands, Page of Cups & Ace of Pentacles from Rider Waite tarot

The moon is currently in its waning (decreasing cycle) this week as it travels through the signs of Aries, Taurus and Gemini. All three cards that came out for you, indicate a young fresh energy, with a little bit of drama thrown in. I’m not surprised at this, as full moons tend to heighten emotions for about three days before and three days afterwards. That being said, let’s dive in!

Moon in Aries: Five of Wands. There’s some tension early in the week as there may be competition at work, or this could be a creative brainstorming session or a debate that gets heated. This card can also indicate drama, disagreement or infighting within a close-knit group. All involved want to be seen and heard. Egos abound, tempers flare, but it’s not long lived. The key for you is to not get caught up in the fray. It is certainly tempting to want to add in your “2 cents”. But see how the sensitive Page of Cups is looking on, but not participating? My eye is also drawn to the young man in blue in the Five of Wands card that has the wand over his shoulder, instead of up and in the battle. You do need to stay informed, but be careful not to be drawn in to this emotionally charged tornado. This will calm down just as fast as it started as long as no one keeps poking at the fire.

Moon in Taurus: Page of Cups: Things calm down towards the middle of the week. You or someone else may be owed an apology from the dust up that happened a few days ago. Some of you may have to be the bigger person here and open the communications back up. Within the drama, there were probably some good ideas in there too! Now that everyone has had a chance to settle down, perhaps it is time to revisit this. The Page of Cups upright brings good news whether this is friendship, financial opportunities, or creative projects. Better times are up ahead now that everyone is on the same page (no pun intended).

Moon in Gemini: Ace of Pentacles. It would appear that the chaos earlier in the week, was the catalyst for a new opportunity and/or blessing to emerge! Whatever this is, there is certainly potential for growth here. The Ace of Pentacles may very well be the beginning of an investment, idea or endeavor that could grow into the ten of pentacles over time as long as all involved continue to work together towards a common goal.

Have a great week everyone! ❤️♈️♉️♊️🌔

Tarot forecast 9/5-9/11/22: Shadows, light, mercury retrograde

Two of swords, the moon & the sun reversed

Hi everyone! Here is your tarot forecast for 9/5-9/11/22:

The moon continues to increase its frequency as it travels through the signs of Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces this week, ending its waxing cycle with the full moon in the sign of mysterious Pisces on Saturday. The full moon occurs the day after Mercury goes into retrograde. A full moon and mercury retrograde so close together can certainly pack a “one-two punch”, which can catch us off guard. But this cosmic energy is being nicely balanced with both the Sun and Venus in the practical earth sign of Virgo. Slow down, stay calm and you’ll be fine. Let’s get to the reading…

Moon in Capricorn: Two of swords. At the beginning of the week, it would seem that some of you are at a crossroads of some sort resulting in a temporary stalemate. There are two options, but which one is correct? You may seek or receive advice from trusted source(s), but ultimately it is your decision. This will not go away on its own, it could even become more difficult as time goes on. So, a plan of action or a choice will be necessary. It is important that YOU make the decision to avoid having someone or a circumstance make it for you. You got this. Find a quiet space without distractions so you can think clearly. Drop into your heart space and tune into your intuition. Put your psychic antennas up, higher guidance is available if you ask for it.

Moon in Aquarius: The Moon. Things may get a little darker towards the middle of the week as the energies progress from the two of swords to The Moon. Shadow and light, dreams, illusions, lies, truth. The Moon in Aquarius can be strange indeed, and let’s not forget we have Mercury Retrograde peeking around the corner! Texts and emails should be proofread more than once before sending. Conversations and/or oral agreements should be followed up in writing to avoid misunderstandings. Trust your instincts, if something appears “off” make a note of it. Do yourself a favor and keep idle chit chat to a minimum this week, especially at work. The potential is there for you or maybe someone else, to inadvertently overshare. As well, do not partake in any kind of gossip or drama, as it could escalate quickly. Look at the image in this card. See how the crawfish is following the path laid out before it? My advice to you is along those same lines. Stay in your own lane as much as possible. You’ll be glad you did!

Moon in Pisces: The Sun reversed. The Sun is still the sun, but when it is in the reversed position, it indicates there could be a few clouds in the forecast. I feel the end of the week is when a decision, truth or information may come to light. It may not be exactly the outcome that you would have preferred, but you are still A-okay. Things are still on track, but there may be a delay. With Mercury retrograde fresh and active, perhaps something needs to be re-evaluated or reviewed again before proceeding further. The Sun, whether upright or reversed is a good sign. You end the week, much more savvy and confident than when you started. Have a great week everyone! 😊❤️🌙🌕♑️♒️♓️
