New Moon in Scorpio 11/20/25

This New Moon in Scorpio initiates a deep reset around power dynamics, intimacy, possessions, personal truth and release. Closely aligned with Mercury retrograde, and opposing Uranus in Taurus, a sudden insight or internal shift around this time, may stir up normally still waters. But should something be revealed, it’s because it needed to be. It’s time.

Nicely supported by Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto, this new moon helps to begin a new cycle by inviting us to surrender what’s expired, or no longer fits, to make space for something more suitable to come in.

Have you had the sudden urge lately to “purge”? This could show up as cleaning out your closet, organizing your home, having a heart-to-heart talk with a significant other, getting rid of junk food or alcohol, streamlining expenses, etc. This energy encourages us to identify the things that distract or disorient us, and make beneficial changes to bring ourselves back into alignment.

For the past few years, as a collective, we have been buying, consuming, and accumulating and yet, we are not fulfilled. There’s always a new trend, the latest gadget, or the next best person, place, or thing right around the corner that promises to be just what we need. And yet, somehow, once the dust settles, we are left feeling a bit…. deflated.

But anytime the moon is in Scorpio, she is not playing. She is deep, she is direct. She asks us to explore our psyche and ask the tough question: What is missing in our life that is causing us to participate in these counterproductive cycles? Are you ready to engage with your world differently? Are you ready to divest yourself of the “junk” that spreads you thin, and instead choose to invest in a more intentional way of being?

The vibe for this transit is clear; release the junk, reclaim your sovereignty. Commit or recommit to what truly matters. Remember, you have the power at any time to edit or rewrite your story. And this new moon provides the perfect opportunity to do just that.

The tarot cards that correspond to this new moon are Death and Seven of Cups. Here’s the quick breakdown:

Death (Scorpio): Endings clear the way for profound transformation. Let go of what no longer fits, release old patterns, and make space for rebirth. Change may feel intense, but it’s necessary and ultimately liberating.
