Aries New Moon – The fire within

New Moon in Aries – Accessing the fire within!

New Moon in Aries April 1, 2022

Spring is the time for new growth, new beginnings, warmth, beauty, abundance. It is when birds build their nests and lay eggs, the trees begin to show sprigs of green, and hibernating animals, goddesses, gods and nature spirits wake from their winter slumber. It’s an exciting time!

The zodiac symbol for Aries is the ram. An animal that is known for its tenacity and assertiveness. In human terms, we often associate Aries with the warrior or athlete. In our lives, this translates into having the drive and confidence to take action. Whether this is a new project, a career move, athletic endeavors, buying a home, the pursuit of love, or going through with the decision to get that first tattoo, Aries inspires us to achieve.

The card associated with this particular new moon is the three of wands. We see how the character in this card has their eye on the horizon. The three of wands denotes potential as well as future opportunities, some of which may at this point, may be just beyond our reach. Or perhaps we don’t have our plan all together quite yet. But it won’t be like that for long! We are talking about the fiery suit of wands after all! The inner fire of inspiration gives us the courage we need to keep moving. The number three is one of creative potential. It’s that idea that wakes you up at 3:00 am. It’s that feeling that one must “go for it”. It’s thinking to yourself, “it’s crazy, but it just might work”, it’s knowing that you CAN do this, that your vision is within the realm of possibility. The three of wands can also indicate a potential for traveling.

It’s interesting that the New Moon falls on April 1st also known as April Fool’s Day. I see this indicative of the universe further inspiring us to have faith in ourselves and to break the mold, if we are feeling a bit stagnant. Aries, like The Fool in the major arcana, goes its own way. Aries can be a bit much for some people, but personally I love Aries energy! Ask a well aspected Aries person how they will do it, and they will respond “I don’t know how yet, I just know I will.” Just as the ram aligns with its target and charges forward, full speed ahead, their motto is often “get behind me, be beside me, or move out of my way!” Like the warrior archetype they rise to the challenge. They will push themselves to the limit to accomplish their goals.

This new moon in the sign of Aries on April 1st, is asking us to align our courage with our intentions. Are you ready to be bold? Be more independent? Begin a new diet/exercise regime? Have more faith in your potential to succeed? Maybe it’s time to show your leadership skills at work or at home! Perhaps you are ready to set some new rules in your life and assert yourself more. Is it time to step out of your comfort zone and take action? Just as our modern day athletes train and regularly push themselves beyond their physical limits in order to become stronger, this Aries new moon is pushing us to strive beyond our perceived limitations. If you really want it, exert yourself. Put in the extra effort to make it happen.

With Aries, fresh and bold is in vogue! The time is right to put yourself out there! Go ahead, try something new! Change your hair, your clothes, wear some funky footwear. How about showing a little more skin, show us what you’ve got… if you dare…. (laugh). Introduce a bold, sexy, fresh new you to the world! It’s good to shake it up once in a while. It gives everyone else something to talk about! Have some fun. 🌞

This Aries New Moon inspires us not to give in to fear. Lean in, and keep going. Now more than ever, it is vital to not allow oneself to become distracted with large scale events that for the most part, are beyond the stewardship of the individual. Instead of focusing your attention outward, turn your powerful gaze inward. Aries represents the self, the individual. Its motto is “I am”.

The major arcana tarot card associated with Aries is The Emperor. There was a saying that I read once that reminded me of this archetype. It stated “I never lose. Either I win or I learn”. That statement in my opinion, reflects the persona of The Emperor, as well as represents the zodiac sign of Aries, perfectly.

So, think about the Aries motto for a moment. “I am”. I am what? What word(s) would you use to finish this sentence?

To work with the Aries frequency, below are a few helpful correspondences. But as I always say, if something resonates that is not on this list, by all means, use it.

Full Moon in Virgo

Full Moon in Virgo. “I analyze” It’s time to get real….

This full moon in Virgo on 3/18/22, is the culmination of energy from the New Moon in Pisces we had on 3/2/22. See my previous blog or facebook posts for more information on this transit. To sum it up, that new moon’s theme was about connecting to one’s subconscious / spirituality. To plant the seeds of what we have been dreaming about, in order to make it a reality. It was also about wrapping up Karma and releasing old paradigms to shift into a new persona. To align our outside with who we are or are striving to be, on the inside.

So we had a chance to do some lucid dreaming at the Pisces New Moon. Now, Virgo says it’s time to get real. Virgo represents the sixth house in the zodiac. She represents work, health, service to others, self-care, attention to detail, organization, schedules, diet, the body, structure, holistic healing, and everyday commitments. She can be a bit bossy, but it stems from good intentions. She is opposite of the sign of Pisces. She balances out this dreamy water sign with a dose of physical, earth element practicality. The Virgo frequency, has pen and paper in hand and is ready to assist us. She is a mutable earth sign. She has the ability to walk into a current construct and make it better, healthier, more organized, etc. She loves to be of service, and being a mutable sign, she works best when she can improve upon something that is already there. She can take us to the next level. Virgo’s mantra is “I analyze”.

Tonight’s Full Moon in Virgo is asking you: Okay, what do we need to do make your dreams a reality? Do you want to look and feel better? Let’s initiate a diet and exercise plan. Do you want to have more money in savings? Let’s put pen to paper and make a budget. Virgo, being in charge of details, helps us micro-manage the daily aspects of our lives. For it’s what we do or don’t do each day, that add up over time. This includes consideration of how we serve others, and how we take care of ourselves. Virgo energy is spiritual and intuitive with a healthy dose of grounding.

As a side note, this full moon is in a beneficial aspect to Pluto (the planet of destruction & transformation) This additional boost gives us an opportunity to analyze and release once and for all what is not serving us, so that we can embrace fresh, new, holistic, balanced lifestyle choices for ourselves and those that we love.

The Hermit tarot card
The Hermit tarot card RWS

The tarot card for Virgo is The Hermit. The Hermit takes time out from society, in order to re-charge and to access inner wisdom. The Hermit also speaks of being a source of light and wisdom for others. But we can only be this source of light for others, by living true to ourselves first and foremost. If you are able to help others, do it. There truly is no better feeling. But when your own light starts to become dim, have the wisdom to “know when to say no”. 🌷🌕♍️❤️

March 2022 Pisces New Moon – Make a wish!

The Nine of Cups is the primary energy for this New Moon in Pisces

Tonight’s Pisces New Moon – Make a wish! The New Moon in Pisces tonight is in a beneficial aspect to Jupiter – the planet of growth, luck and expansion. Interestingly enough, the corresponding tarot card for the new moon is the 9 of cups which is known as the “wish fulfillment” card. The Moon in the sign of Pisces (both corresponding to the element of water) is a dreamy, mysterious, sensitive, intuitive, creative energy. Combined with other powerful astrological transits this month, as well as the vernal equinox on March 20th , (the beginning of the spring season) it would appear that the divine is giving us the opportunity to plant the seeds of our intentions of this new moon in VERY fertile soil here!

This frequency is ethereal in nature, therefore she is difficult to grasp with the conscious mind. This New Moon is asking us to “walk between the worlds”. Go ahead, allow yourself to float in the realm of the subconscious for a while. As I write this, the image of one those sensory isolation tanks is coming into my mind’s eye. The New Moon in Pisces is calling you to step into the world of dreams and explore what you find there.

This is an excellent moon phase/transit to do some automatic writing! Light a candle (or two or three LOL), burn some incense and allow yourself to “let go”. Be in a quiet space with no distractions. Pulling an oracle or tarot card(s) may be helpful to get the “conversation” started with your angels, guides, higher self, divine, etc. Let spirit guide your hand during this exercise. Feel free to ask questions, but you must allow the writing to flow without your conscious intervention to get the most benefit from the session.

We have Saturn and Mercury Conjunct in the sign of Aquarius. Both of these planets are comfortable in this sign. This is the house of groups, friends, the collective. This is a nice energy for brainstorming with other like-minded people! Be humble, listen, really listen, to other’s ideas. You just might learn something! Or you may receive an idea that tweaks your idea into something even better! Mercury is direct and Saturn gives form to function. Where this all leads to though, is up to you. The tarot card associated with this placement is the six of swords. This is a card denoting moving forward, making a change. It’s not easy in the beginning, as one can see in the image. But I tell my clients the people in the boat begin to perk up at about the halfway point. This is where they have crossed over the rocky waters and begin to see the new opportunities up ahead. Being the number 6, it denotes a certain amount of faith is required. How do we acquire faith? By having a strong connection with spirit, as I mentioned above. Piscean vibes!

This New Moon also denotes an easier approach, or an end to a cumulative amount of work or building. For example, some of you may be graduating from college, be recognized for a promotion at work, or perhaps you are beginning to reap rewards and/or recognition from a project or business that you have been working on for a good while now. You may also have the opportunity to release karma or energetic chords from a traumatic experience. All planets are direct this month, indicating a forward momentum that allows one to break out of dark psychological cycles or any kind of shadowy energy.

Don’t worry too much about the details right now. We have the full moon in Virgo on March 18th. She will bring us back into reality and shine a light as to what our next steps should be. As I mentioned above, the tarot card associated with this new moon is the nine of cups. Take advantage of this potent, uplifting energy, and make a wish! Be careful what you wish for because it is likely to come true! So make it a good one!

2022 is a “six” year. There is a lot of potential for growth, expansion and for shifting your life into the one that you want. We have the opportunity starting with this New Moon, to release some old paradigms. Perhaps you are ready to make changes in your appearance, your job/career, where you live, etc. to align your outer projection more authentically with who you are on the inside. ❤️

Element: Water

Colors: Purple, lavender, dark blue, light green, white, silver or gray

Crystals: Moonstone, amethyst, aquamarine, fluorite, amazonite, super 7, celestite, clear quartz, ametrine, smoky quartz.

Herbs/Oils: Chamomile, lavender, rosemary, sage, honeysuckle, eucalyptus, dandelion, calendula, mint, basil.

Seeing Beyond…

Ace of Pentacles & Two of Cups: Positive cards

Merry Monday everyone! Below is your message for this week:

Yes it’s true, your circumstances/environment may not be ideal right now. But we have the Ace of Pentacles here, which indicates a favorable opportunity and/or you are being asked to take a step in a new direction. This may be the first of many that are leading you towards the vision of what you have been holding in your mind’s eye for a while now.

The Two of Cups is also a favorable card. Some of you may have had a “mirror moment” recently. Where you know the time has come to transform in some way. Has your inner-voice or higher self been “speaking to you”? Nudging you to take action on making some beneficial changes in your life?

Maybe the time has come to step out of your comfort zone. Go ahead, put yourself out there and do some networking. Spirit is asking you to make connections with other people that will be of benefit to you either now or somewhere down the line. It appears that who or what you have been looking for is out there looking for you! Allow yourself to be seen. Consider accepting an invitation or hosting a social event or gathering, whether online or in-person.

The moon is in its waning phase this week. This is a perfect opportunity to release old baggage, negative self-talk, lack of confidence, etc. Whatever internal challenges you may be holding onto that are preventing you from living an abundant, fulfilling life. The opportunities are there, but you must have the mental and emotional clarity to see them when they show up.

Below is an excerpt from the Oracle of the 7 Energies, which sums up this reading beautifully:

“There are two ways to view the world and co-create with it. One is from a face-value perspective; what you see is what you get. The second is allowing your imagination to see beyond what something “is” right now and into to move into a place that doesn’t yet exist in the material world…. a place where anything you imagine has the potential to become real.

Don’t worry about the timing of things; that is in the hand of the Universe. Your job is to continue to imagine, take a few steps forward, then imagine some more. The Universe’s job is to make it real. What a fabulous partnership!”

Have a great week everyone! ♥️♥️♥️

Happy Valentines Day!

Choose the message that resonates with you!

Happy Valentines Day! I pulled three sets of cards for the collective. Whichever message you most resonate with, is the one that is meant for you! ❤🦋❤☺

1) Time / Strength: You are trying too hard. Give it time.

You may need to come to terms with the fact that no matter what you do, the only true control you have in this situation is how you react to it. Have the courage to let go of fear and doubt, and give the Divine time to work this out in accordance with your highest good. See this an opportunity for personal growth. Strong egos and high emotions need to be kept in balance. A direct confrontation is not advised. Finesse is required. Strength is a Leo card. This is a vibration of inner-strength, courage and leadership. You may be setting the energetic tone here, or someone may be watching to see how you respond. Show them how powerful you are, not with your words, but by your actions. Don’t allow your temper and/or passions to get the better of you. Be the best version of yourself. Take the moral high ground. Stand firm. Have faith in knowing this will work out in your favor as long as you stay calm, cool and collected.

2) Trust: / Six of Swords:Transformation occurs through acceptance. Once you accept the current situation it will automatically transform.

Look at the Six of Swords card here. The characters have accepted the fact that is time to move forward. To transcend the rough waters of the past and take the journey onward to distant shores where new opportunities await. Change is never easy, but it is the catalyst for growth. These cards indicate that there may be emotional and/or mental baggage that should be left behind. We cannot change the past, but what we can do is make peace with it and grow from it. We take the wisdom of those experiences with us as we travel onward. Is it time to move on? Note the six of swords can indicate an actual physical move. The number 6 denotes a harmonic integration of the spiritual and physical. It is a nurturing number, which can also indicate forgiving yourself and/or others. Have faith in the process. Look ahead, not backwards. Every day is a new day. This is a positive transformation. An opportunity for a fresh, new beginning.

3) Emotions are a natural and necessary part of life, but they can also distort your perception and cloud your vision. In order to see things clearly, you must let go of resentment / Ten of Cups

The Ten of Cups is known as a “happy” card. Happy life, relationships, emotional fulfilment. But are you focusing on the thorns instead of the roses at the moment? Happiness is an emotion solely based on perception. It comes from within. There is no outside person, place or thing that can make us “happy” if our heart is heavy with resentment. You are being encouraged this week, to take responsibility for your own happiness. The Ten of Cups in this reading, indicates that there are already positive things here, just waiting for you to take notice. And that there is more to come as well. Many blessings, a lot of love. Negativity can become a pattern. Consciously be aware of this and train yourself to focus on the positive aspects in your life. You will see that this emotional shift leads to some wonderful opportunities for connection and fulfilment on a much deeper level than you ever imagined.

Happy Valentines Day and have a great week everyone!

Tarot Message this week: You are worth it…

The Five of Swords, The Empress & Page of Pentacles

The Empress is a card of creation, nature, and beauty. Ruled by Venus, this divine feminine, embodies abundance and self-love. Look how relaxed she is. She is not a machine – go, go, go. She is nature. And nature is not full speed ahead all of the time. It ebbs and flows in cycles.

I feel that in this reading today, she is saying that you require some “me” time this week. And more importantly, you are to be okay with it. There is no need to explain, no excuses, no guilt. The Empress says “you are worth it”.

I love the Page of Pentacles card grounding this reading. Isn’t she beautiful? She appears to be in a modified “tree” yoga position. Balanced, full of potential, optimistic. She gives me a “tribal” sort of vibe. Her unique gifts and talents are an asset to herself and others. They are the keys to manifesting abundance in her life. But only if she takes care of herself first. She is but just a Page. She must take care not to burn herself out. And more importantly she must be careful not to squander her potential on those that do not appreciate it. I find it interesting that she too, is out in nature, just like The Empress card above her.

What’s with the Five of Swords here? I sometimes refer to the Five of Swords as the “screw you” card. But I don’t recommend you tell anyone off this week! (laugh). However, this could indicate a more direct approach is required to cut some circumstances, people, or prior commitments out of your life that are draining you. The Empress is very generous, the Page of Pentacles is young and energetic, but even they have their limits.

We have the quirky, innovative Aquarius New Moon this week, coinciding closely with the Chinese New Year in the sign of the powerful Water Tiger. These are additional energies coming in serving as an energetic “push” to aid you in making any changes that you wish to make to allow space for other, more positive experiences to come in to your life.

People grow, develop other interests. This is normal. If you are ready to do something else. It’s all good. People will get over it. You cannot be all things to all people, as if you try, you will lose yourself in the process.

The Empress does not exhaust herself to “prove” her worth to anyone. She is enough. You are enough. You are always enough. ❤🦋❤🌷❤

Have a great week everyone! ❤

This week: What is casting a shadow on your sun?

Eight of Swords reversed and The Sun reversed this week.

Is there something that you are holding on to that no longer suits you, but you are having mental and/or emotional challenges regarding releasing it? This push/pull effect on our psyche can result in one feeling “trapped” or “stagnant”.

The first two cards in this reading are numbers 8 + 4, This adds up to number 12 which corresponds to the Hanged Man in the major arcana. The Hanged Man is a card of taking a pause to look at something from a different perspective. I find it interesting that the Eight of Swords has come out reversed here, which puts her in a similar position as The Hanged Man. But, as you can see, the characters have two very different perspectives regarding their current predicament.

The Eight of Swords next to The Hanged Man

In this reading, the Universe is asking you to release fear and see your circumstances within a more proportionate frame of reference. In otherwords, are you thinking in terms of what-ifs and worst-case scenarios?

The number eight corresponds with the eighth house of Scorpio. Although the eight of swords is not technically a Scorpio card, one can see the psychological energetic ties to this energy within its image. Deep psychology, death, hidden fears, the shadow realms, etc. It can get pretty dark and scary in there… Do not despair, the Eight of Swords reversed indicates you are not a victim. You have more power than you think. You just don’t see it…. Yet…… 🦋

The Sun reversed supports this theme. The Sun is a positive card regardless of its position, but when it is reversed, I tend to read it as there is some cloud cover blocking its optimism.

The Universe is asking you to challenge the validity of your self-doubt. As we have the waning moon in Scorpio Monday and Tuesday this week, this energy presents an opportunity to analyze where this is coming from. Most likely, this is an emotional chord linked to a trauma from the past that at this point in your life, no longer holds truth for you.

We have a waning crescent moon in Sagittarius on Thursday. Sagittarius corresponds to the Temperance card. If you have a tarot deck, I recommend you pull this card and meditate on its symbolism and meaning. There is an opportunity for some amazing spiritual alchemy this week! Archangel Michael is the angel depicted in Temperance. Call on this powerful force of the Divine to aid you in the process of transmuting self-doubt into confidence and faith in yourself. ❤

Have a wonderful week everyone ❤🙏🦋❤

Tarot messages for this week w/an emphasis on the full moon in Cancer

Is it time for a fresh start?

We have the full moon in Cancer tonight. Cancer is a water sign associated with home, family, emotions, close relationships and what we hold close to our hearts. This full moon is illuminating a domestic or emotional aspect in our life that requires our attention.

Tonight, reflect on your thoughts regarding something from the past that may be undermining you emotionally or mentally. The seven of swords indicates there is something still creeping around. Is it time for a fresh start? If so, make the decision to no longer allow this shadow from the past to continue to “steal” from the happiness and success of your future.

The King of Pentacles knows value. If something has gotten “complicated” strip it down to the bare bones and inspect the foundation. If you feel this is worth it, you have the wisdom and maturity to shift your perspective to a more positive outlook. Bring your mind back to the present. Focus on what you do want and not what you don’t want.

Let that seven of swords go on down the road. The King of Pentacles is reminding you, this is not but a petty thief that is taking what no longer serves you anyway. Take a closer look at these cards. See? Sometimes, when you lose, you win.

Have a great week! ❤🦋❤

The Death Card

The Death card can be a disconcerting image, but its not what most people think….

#13 Death card in the tarot. Its image can be disconcerting, that’s for sure. When this card comes up in a reading, it rarely indicates a literal death of a person. 99% of the time, it represents a symbolic death or transition.

Associated with the zodiac sign of Scorpio, it is a message that a cycle has reached its conclusion. In most cases, the circumstance cannot or should not be resurrected. The healing waters and sunrise in the background are symbols of renewal. A new cycle is about to begin.

It not a “bad or good” card. Death and cycles are a part of life. It just “is”. When Death sweeps through, it clears the path by removing the chords of the past, to allow freedom and new opportunities to emerge. This is not an energy that indicates a dramatic “blow out” ending. The Death card tells us to make peace with what was and to move on with dignity. Tomorrow is a new day. ❤🦋❤

Know your power, know your fears… (Star Wars vibes)

Powerful message this week! The Hermit shines its light in the dark….

Wow a powerful message this week: Know your power, know your fears…

I received a “Star Wars vibe” on this reading lol!

I love how these cards came out! Only when we know and face our fears can we move forward with our full power.

I often refer to The Hermit as the Obi-Wan Kenobi or Yoda card. The ancient wisdom symbolized in The Hermit is within all of us. It is found in the deepest recesses of the soul. A quiet, dark place where not many others dare to go. And even if one should complete the journey, one must have considerable courage to acknowledge what is met there.

We see this symbolized in the way The Hermit archetypes in the movies are found in remote areas, such as high on a mountain, deep in a swamp, etc. Only the most dedicated adept meets The Hermit. But just as we were shown in Star Wars, this courage is rewarded with the knowledge of knowing one’s true power. We all have the potential of becoming Jedi’s in our own life!

To me, when I look at the placement of these cards, it is the wisdom of The Hermit, that is the drive behind the Knight of Wands. For once you face the very thing that scares you and shine a light on it, you are released from its grip.

If there is something holding you back this week, take the time to meditate and journal about it. See if you can find out the root cause. I tell my clients, knowledge is power. Many times, the fear is due to the not knowing. Do you need to google information, talk to a lawyer or a therapist? Or perhaps a trusted friend or family member? The Hermit often indicates a wise, older person that can be consulted for their wisdom.

If you are resonating with this reading, this week, shine your light on what you fear is lurking in the dark. What do you see? You will find that you have more power than you think you do (just like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars). This will give you the confidence to pick up your light saber and ride forward full steam ahead!

Have a great week everyone!❤
