Eight of Swords (reversed), Wheel of Fortune, Justice (Light Seers Tarot)

So, we are in the aftermath of the recent powerful Super Full Moon in Aquarius, and now the moon is just beginning its waning (reducing) phase traveling primarily through the signs of Taurus and Gemini this week.

At the beginning of the week, we have the eight of swords reversed. Let’s be honest. We’ve all been here. Sometimes life gets rough and it gets the better of us. We can feel stuck, depressed, trapped. But look closely at this card. I love the artist’s interpretation of the reversed eight of swords in the Light Seers Tarot. We are witnessing the moment wherein she realizes who she is. The bonds are broken, the blindfold is off, and she is just about to rise up off her knees. A shift in perspective makes all the difference. If this is you, I’m cheering you on! The only way to go from here is up!

Mid-week, we have the Wheel of Fortune upright. Your mental shift earlier in the week pays off! This has freed up space for the Universe to bring in some good things. Stay open as the energies are influx. Literally, when the Wheel of Fortune is upright, anything could happen! You may get a new job, raise or promotion, begin a new project, experience a renewed sense of faith, health or confidence, receive good news, have a download of creative ideas, or perhaps a legal matter is finally concluded. Look at the images in the first two cards. This is a big shift. Our lady goes from being on her knees, to a perfectly balanced yoga “tree pose” at the top of the Wheel of Fortune! What just happened? Your future just took a turn for the better.

At the end of the week, as the moon travels through the quick moving air sign of Gemini, we have another major arcana card, Justice. You might sign a contract, wrap up a negotiation, speak your truth, give notice at work, sell or buy a home, or perhaps karmic or court justice (or both as the case may be) is served. Two, out of the three cards here are major arcana. This can denote important life themes or that universal/cosmic energies are exerting their influence.

This could be a big week for some of you. There is an opportunity for a peaceful resolution or a positive change. Something is granted, rewarded or released. Balance is restored.

The crystals I chose for this reading are kyanite and labradorite.

Kyanite is a potent stone that clears away negativity. Similar to selenite, it has the ability to cleanse and clear other crystals that are in close proximity to it. Its “broom” shape can be used in a symbolic “sweeping” motion to clear away negative or foggy energy from our auric field, other crystals, altar or space.

Labradorite is primarily used as a meditation and/or “psychic stone”, although it has many other properties as well. It aids us in connecting with higher realms of consciousnesses and the Akashic records. It promotes peace within our mind, body and emotions, allowing for restful sleep. Its protective nature helps to banish fears within our subconscious aiding us in releasing blocks so that we can access the full potential of our magick within. It inspires faith in oneself and trust in the divine process.

Tarot message for week of 8/9-8/14/22: Lions Gate & Aquarius Full Moon. Forward momentum

So we have some powerful energetic transits going on this week!

We had the Lions gate 8/8 portal yesterday, and we have the upcoming full moon in Aquarius on Thursday. The theme tarot card that came out for you this week is The Lovers. I also pulled the two tarot cards that are associated with the upcoming full moon, which are the six of swords and six of wands.

So, the first message that came through is frequency shift. Tap into your heart, what aligns with you and what does not. It is extremely important this week to guard the gates to your inner self. If it’s not positive, if its not adding value to your life in some way, ask yourself how you can minimize its influence or you may decide that it’s time to release it.

Others of you are weighing the choices of an important decision this week. Whether this is in the area of life, love, or career. The Lovers card upright reminds you to choose the path that best aligns with your personal truth and highest good. This may not necessarily be the “easy path”, but you will know in your heart that it is ultimately the best decision for all involved.

The six of swords and six of wands are both cards that reflect forward momentum. The six of swords is a mental energy. It indicates understanding that something is what it is, and as such, making the decision to move on to calmer waters and distant shores. The six of wands is a card of self-love, confidence and courage. It denotes accomplishment, and moving forward with victory & success.

This week’s tarot forecast for 8/1-8/7/22

The moon is in its waxing, increasing phase this week as it travels through the signs of Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius. It will be in its first quarter phase on Friday. The sun is currently in the zodiac sign of fiery, charismatic Leo.

This energetic combination has us feeling good! For ya’lls tarot messages this week, I’ve pulled three cards corresponding to each of the signs that the moon will be traveling through. Let’s do this!

Libra: (Tues/Wed): Knight of Pentacles. This is my slow and steady wins the race card. Keep your eye on the prize! Stay balanced in your thoughts and actions. If you begin to drift, ask yourself is this leading me closer to my goal, or taking me further away from my goal? I also received the message that some of ya’ll have been in Hermit mode for far too long. Knights indicate movement. Get up and get moving! Take advantage of this fabulous Leo sun energy! Make the effort to meet some new people, network, check out some different places, etc. Our Knight of Pentacles is heading in the direction of two beautiful upright Queens! There is an opportunity or special someone that is out there waiting for you. Look at this image again. These two Queens appear to be beckoning our Knight to them. Whatever this is, it will not come to you. You must go to it.

The Leo sun is squaring the moon in Scorpio (Thurs/Fri): This is an interesting aspect. Something weird may come up. I don’t see this as a big deal though. Perhaps someone with a dry sense of humor makes a comment for example, that makes you wonder, what the heck was that supposed to mean? Or maybe someone said or did something earlier in the week that rubbed you the wrong way, and you are replaying the interaction over again in your mind. They probably weren’t even aware of it or maybe it was just a little dig, because they just can’t handle your fabulous vibe! If need be, write down your observation or make a mental note, and move on. Believe me, you have better things to focus on. LOL!! Stay in your grace and put this behind you.

(Saturday/Sunday): Art, music, magick, travel, socializing, what lights your fire? The Queen of Wands is pure inspiration! Look at the image here! On July 13th, we have a full super moon in the sign of Capricorn. A super moon occurs when the moon’s orbit is in its closest proximity to the earth, while in its full moon phase. Visually, a super moon appears larger, and up to 30% brighter in comparison to other full moons. As such, super moons tend to bring deep, hidden truths to the surface. In the sign of Capricorn, themes centered around time, money, career, karma, long standing structures, authority figures & investments are highlighted.

Capricorn is not a “warm and fuzzy” energy. It balances out the nurturing, emotional waters of Cancer with a mature, no-nonsense, practical perspective.

The moon in Capricorn is encouraging us to put our feelings aside in order to clearly assess the facts of a situation. What in your life is no longer a “viable investment” for your time, energy and/or money? Depending on what this is for you, admitting the truth, can be a tough pill to swallow. Two powerful cards came out for you all this week! The Ace of Wands and Kali from the Goddess Guidance Oracle deck.

The Ace of wands represents the fire element in its purest divine form. We experience this archetype in the way of inspiration, creativity, new beginnings, action and courage. It can also denote passion for a project, idea or cause. It is that undeniable impulse that cannot be ignored. Sometimes, it can denote anger that is channeled into something positive. It’s that first spark that initiates a plan of action or turn of events. I sometimes refer to the Ace of Wands as the “Braveheart” card in my readings. As its message is a reminder to embody the qualities of confidence, strength and courage when facing a challenge, new experience or a period of growth or change.

The new moon is in the sign of Cancer this week. This is a passionate new moon, as at the same time we have Jupiter in the sign of Aries. This week, we have the full moon in Sagittarius and the sun in the opposite sign of Gemini. The cards for this transit are the ten of swords (sun) and the ten of wands (moon). In this reading, these cards indicate an ending or a breakthrough that leads to new possibilities, new experiences, an opportunity for growth.

The elemental energies of air and fire is igniting the spark of courage this week. However, it is not without its challenges. The Ten of Wands represents Saturn in Sagittarius. The Gemini new moon combined with Clean it up and The Page of Pentacles has ushered in a breath of fresh air this week! Be prepared to receive good news regarding a practical matter such as a raise, promotion, an offer on your home, approval of a loan, acceptance into a college or school, etc. Once the ball starts rolling, things will move quickly. Mercury is in retrograde for a few more days, however, so be sure to pay particular attention to details this week. Take the time to review and proofread any documents and/or communications before signing or sending. On a final note, this week is an auspicious time to clear out the clutter and get organized. Scorpio Full Moon Eclipse

Not only is this moon in the dark, mysterious sign of Scorpio, it includes a rare blood moon lunar eclipse, which exponentially intensifies its energetic influence! Look at the cards in this tarot & oracle card spread. It’s pretty intense. Wouldn’t you agree?

This transit is activating the collective as well as the individual on a profound level. Literally, we are being guided to allow things to end in our life that are or have been exerting a negative influence and/or pulling us off our divine path. In our daily lives, you will see these aspects intensify so that whatever this is for you: people, situations, environment, habits, etc. cannot be ignored any longer. The universe is removing all doubt you may have about needing to release them! But as always, you have a choice. It is YOU that must initiate the change or decide on a new direction. Take time to be still and access your inner voice. That is where the truth is.

Lilith is the goddess energy influencing this transit. She was demonized because she would not submit. Her truth was that she was not “lesser” and deserved to be treated as an equal. To her, staying where she was not allowed to live the fullest expression of herself would in fact, trap her within the limits of someone else’s reality. In other words, she refused to sell herself short in order to please someone else. The price she paid for her conviction was high, but not as high as if she had stayed. We all have been in situations like this. Whether individually or collectively, the result is the same. When we allow others to limit or define us, we give them power over us. As most of you probably already know, these types situations tend to get worse over time, not better.

Does Lilith’s story resonate with you?

Scorpio energy has no choice but to transform itself continuously. Its symbol is the phoenix, which repeatedly goes through the death and rebirth cycle. That is what this moon is activating within us. An internal transformation. Who are you? I’ll bet you are not the same person that you were two years ago, two months ago, two weeks ago, or even two days ago.

What in your life is ready to be released? What have you outgrown? In what area(s) of your life are you over-compromising? Is there an agreement that needs to be renegotiated or voided completely? Are you feeling “blocked”? Do you feel it is time to align yourself with a more empowered archetype?

As a side note, some of you that are psychically sensitive may be physically feeling this moons effects, especially if there is a significant emotional transition and/or psychological breakthrough coming to light at the same time. You may feel confused, dizzy, angry, overly emotional or mentally foggy. Be patient with yourself. If you are feeling this way, protect your energy. Give yourself permission to withdraw for a little while in order to recalibrate. Just as when a snake is shedding its skin, it knows it is vulnerable. Therefore, it withdraws into its hide until the process is complete. If you are resonating with this message, save the big decisions and heavy conversations for after this transit.

I’m going to take this post to the next level here. Yes, this is a powerful moon. But in addition, this transit is supported by other beneficial planetary alignments. As such, we have the ability to work with this potent energy to release the chords of ancestor karmic ties, soul contracts that do not serve our highest good, energetic blockages, painful stories, and patterns that have been repeated over and over due to soul wounds that we have incurred in this life, or even from past lives.

Mercury, the planet that corresponds to communication, is retrograde during this transit. I refer to Mercury retrograde as “Repeat a Grade”. This transit is giving us a chance to “RE-view” our story. Many of these stories have been a part of our experience for far too long as I mentioned before. Every time we re-visit the old narrative, we re-open the old wounds and we re-live the pain of it. Is time to re-lease ourselves from this toxic storyline? The Death card in this reading is our message that a cycle has reached its conclusion.

The Scorpio Moon in regards to agriculture is an ideal time to plant hearty vegetables such as squash, beans, tomatoes and leafy greens. It is said that the roots of plants are able to recover quickly from being transplanted into new soil during this moon phase.

We have Temperance in this reading. One of my nicknames for this card is “spiritual alchemy. This moon is our catalyst, if we have not begun the process already, to do “the great work of inner transformation” by burning away those old narratives and subconscious programs, in order to access the divine “gold” within. If you are not satisfied with the current trajectory of your life, you have the opportunity with this transit to turn the page and begin a new narrative.

The Hermit & Goddess Sulis – tarot message for this week

Tarot message for this week from the Goddess Sulis and The Hermit. It appears some of you out there may be feeling the need to withdraw for a little while. Perhaps you have recently gone through a stressful experience, or maybe you are just exhausted, and even a bit jaded from the demands of daily life. Others of you may be contemplating an important decision or reflecting on your life path and purpose.

The Goddess Sulis, recommends spending time with the healing element of water to aid you in calming your mind so that you are able to access the wisdom of your inner voice.
